Vice President of Sales; Professional Services

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Positioning and selling services as a value-add in tandem with the product sale
  • Operating as the prime contact for prospects and key customers with regard to implementation and consulting services
  • Developing and managing relationships with prospect and key customer stakeholders
  • Contributing throughout the sales-cycle, liaising with Kimble pre-sales resources
  • Presenting to and building relationships with a range of stakeholders including C-level executives
  • Providing an accurate and timely sales forecast for professional services activity
  • Demonstrating the key differentiators; desired outcomes and associated business benefits
  • Working with Kimble marketing and strategic partners to build relationships, cultivate new opportunities and establish a strong pipeline
  • Creating satisfied and referenceable customers
  • Engage with enterprise accounts (1000+ users) and some mid-market (100-1000 users) prospects
  • Act as Professional Services expert throughout sales cycle, through delivery and throughout our customers’ journey with Kimble
  • Respond to RFP’s, supporting sales meetings, designing and scoping services
  • Assist our customers to understand how they can de-risk implementation and maximize benefit from the use of Kimble
  • Highlight the features and benefits of Kimble’s Professional Services, make recommendations and act as an SME
  • Collaborate with relevant internal business leaders
  • Identify opportunities for innovation
  • Support a smooth transition from sales to implementation

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 10 years plus proven sales track record in the software or consulting industries
  • Experience selling professional services solutions with previously demonstrated success
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including C-level
  • Experience in managing the complex sale and delivering client-focused solutions based on specific customer needs
  • Passion for professional services and a love of sales
  • Experience of selling implementation services of business applications preferred
  • Knowledge and appreciation of cloud-based technologies
  • Strong team spirit and desire to work in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience working with a complex software product company’s professional services team (preferred)
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
