This role is integral to our sales success. Solution Engineering helps design the winning solution, proposition and messaging in each sales campaign. Key activities include managing demo environments and data; understanding and mapping to customers drivers and business requirements; responding to RFPs; product configuration to support client demonstrations; participating in client demonstrations and workshops; and collateral development. The successful candidate will become a member of a talented and supportive team based in the US and UK, they can help with product knowledge but this role requires an innovative, hands-on and pro-active approach to solution development and cloud technologies.
Participation in the Configuration and Delivery of Tailored Software Solution Demonstrations/Workshops for prospects and customers
Participation in Requirements analysis and planning/developing demonstration material and environment configuration.
Collateral development including How to documents, webinars, product videos, white papers, internal environments and software development requirements.
Writing RFI and RFP responses.
Presenting at conferences and webinars
Responding to client requests in a timely and professional manner.
Helping the team maintain and update demo environments to highlight Kimble’s most up to date features and functionality
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline (i.e. computer science, engineering, MIS) preferred
Interest in the SAAS and Professional Services industry
Exposure to software solutions (especially SalesForce) preferred
Ability to relate the technical aspects of the solution to business processes and complexities
Ability to learn both technical and business concepts
Excellent communication and presentation skills with individuals and groups.
A self-starter comfortable working in a team environment
Excellent organizational, reading and writing skills.
