Role Description
The Business Development Representative role is at the front line of growth at Kimble. The successful candidate will join an ambitious and collaborative team based in the US and UK identifying target accounts in the professional services industry and finding new opportunities. They will be responsible for nurturing warm leads, responding to inbound inquiries, representing Kimble at trade shows and events, and working closely with sales executives to generate new deals. They will develop in key area: 1) domain knowledge, 2) selling skills, & 3) product knowledge. There will be lots of training and support and they will have a unique opportunity to learn from serial entrepreneurs who have successfully built 2 previous businesses.
ResponsibilitiesOutbound calling and cold emailing to C-Suite executives at prospective clients
New business calls and emails with warm leads that need nurturing
Targeting a narrow niche of businesses to generate new sales opportunities, including management consultancies, IT Services companies and embedded services organisations
Gaining contacts through social selling
Working closely with the Account Executive for your territory to develop the sales pipeline
Representing Kimble at trade shows, events and webinars
Other marketing activities as requiredSkills, Knowledge and Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability and desire to learn about professional services businesses and the challenges they fact
Driven and determined
Experience working independently and in a team-based environment
Excellent time-management and organizational skill
