Kimble Applications Appoints Gerry De Bruijn as Global VP of Customer Success in Boston Office

September 21, 2017 – Boston, MA – Kimble Applications, a global leader in professional services automation (PSA), today announced that it has hired Gerry De Bruijn as Vice President of Customer Success. De Bruijn is joining Kimble’s Boston office in order to manage the global customer success and enablement team – a key department for the international SaaS company.

De Bruijn has over eighteen years of experience in customer success and support roles for software companies. Prior to joining Kimble, he spent eight years at digital workspace software company RES Software; recently acquired by Ivanti in Radnor, PA.

Interest in customer success as a concept within the software industry has increased dramatically over the last few years, with many technology companies taking a more scientific approach and building full teams dedicated to helping customers get maximum return on investment from buying their software.

“Kimble software was conceived and built by consultants, for consultants, meaning that the experience for our customers has always been paramount,” said Mark Robinson, co-founder and CMO, Kimble Applications. “The broader SaaS industry is highly focused on optimized customer enablement right now and Kimble has been at the forefront of this movement by including customer success as a core strategic pillar of our business. Gerry is a key hire as a leader who can enhance this effort even further, delivering as much reward for customers from the blood, sweat and tears we put into innovation of the product.”

Further Expansion in Boston for Kimble

De Bruijn joins Kimble at a time of rapid expansion for the company, particularly in its main U.S. office in Boston. Kimble, founded in the UK, has added 12 new employees in Boston so far this year and plans further expansion throughout the rest of the year and next.

“Boston has been a great location from which to spearhead Kimble’s U.S. expansion thanks to having a more convenient time zone overlap with Europe than the West Coast and also the array of talent graduating from the many world-class universities in the area,” said Rob Bruce, VP of Marketing and Boston office head at Kimble Applications. “The tech scene in Boston is increasingly vibrant with some of the country’s leading SaaS-focused startups and established firms headquartered here. We are looking forward to further expansion.”
