“Rockstar” Kimble in the News

TechMarketView carried an article about Kimble achieving “Rockstar” status with Sage. The influential publication reported that the positive impact of the network effect is apparent at fast-growing UK-based professional services automation supplier Kimble as it deepens its relationship with Sage.

TMV notes that Kimble already integrates with Sage Live (on the Salesforce platform) and is used internally by Sage’s professional services operation. Now it has been awarded ‘Rockstar’ status within Sage’s ISV partner program for its work on integration with Sage X3.

This is the top Sage partner level for ISVs and is particularly significant because it means Kimble’s application goes on the Sage price list. The Sage sales teams have the same incentives to sell Kimble as they do Sage’s own products thereby creating a much bigger sales channel for Kimble – without the overheads – particularly as Sage X3 integrators and resellers will also be able to sell Kimble in the same way. Some partners are already selling Kimble but the new status makes it formal and easier.
